1. Why did you choose to earn your degree at SMWC?
As soon as I walked onto the campus of SMWC, I felt a sense of home and knew that this was the place that I wanted to continue my education.
2. Why did you choose your major?
I have always loved horses, so being able to continue that passion in college was extremely important to me.
3. What is your favorite place on campus?
The horse barn.
4. What have you been involved in (student clubs and organizations, sports teams, etc.) during your time at SMWC?
I am a member of the Western Equestrian Team, compete in the Open Horsemanship and Open Reining and have been president for four years of the Collegiate Horseman’s Association.
5. What is a favorite memory you have from your Woods experience?
Traveling with my team to horse shows, especially to Nationals and getting to see the top riders of the nation each year!
6. How do you plan to stay connected to SMWC after graduating?
I’m not entirely sure, but potentially coming up for homecoming weekend and watching the horse show that we host.
